stdlib · php-src-strict · extension registry / opcache name
Problem
On a stock Zend 8.2 CLI build, extension_loaded('Zend OPcache') is true and extension_loaded('opcache') is false. php-compiler inverts the names: 'opcache' loads as true and 'Zend OPcache' as false. function_exists('opcache_get_status') is true on both sides, so this is a registry name mismatch, not absence of the API.
Probed 2026-07-29 Zend 8.2.32 vs bin/vm.php @ a4c54c0ef.
Extension registry / extension_loaded mapping in ext/ or lib/ — register the Zend module name Zend OPcache (and stop advertising bare opcache unless Zend does on that profile)
