M2 wave 2: Grow compiler_lib_spine_smoke toward full vm.php inventory

Goal

Grow test/selfhost/compiler_lib_spine_smoke/main.php toward the full 586-file bin/vm.php inventory until the honest bundle covers the full compiler tree (or documented honest closure).

Current (master, batch 71): 569/586 units (~97%); 17 inventory files remain.

Gate: BOOTSTRAP_LIB_SPINE_SMOKE=1 → build/selfhost-lib-spine-smoke prints compiler_lib_spine_smoke bundle OK.

Definition of done

• php script/bootstrap-inventory.php --check — 0 source blockers
• Spine unit count documented in inventory / self-host-target.md (569 on master)
• Each growth PR: lint + native link green (ongoing)
• php script/bootstrap-selfhost-next-includes.php used to pick next literal require_once batch
• Close stale m2-spine-unit issues for files already in spine (see DevEx: Close stale m2-spine-unit issues when file already in compiler_lib_spine_smoke #1808)

Approach

1. Run php script/bootstrap-selfhost-next-includes.php for next 10–20 units
2. Add to compiler_lib_spine_smoke/main.php literal closure
3. Fix JIT/VM lowering blockers per file (prefer real lowering over new stubs)
4. Optional entry shim: M2 spine: bundle src/cli.php entry shim (#1432 follow-up) #1467 (src/cli.php)

Hygiene note

146 open m2-spine-unit issues vs 17 remaining inventory files — many issues were pre-filed before batch merges landed. Bulk-close tracked on #1808.

Out of scope

• Moving compiler logic into lib/AOT/runtime/*.c
• In-process linker (🔄 North Star 2: Compiler fully compiles itself (living tracker) #1056 notes external clang OK)
