docs(readme): advertise recent features, CLI/SDK/MCP surfaces, and Mistral Vibe - #5676
Conversation
…stral Vibe The README still described the March feature set. Bring it up to date with what shipped since: expanded features table (terminal, command palette, remote workspaces, automations, custom agents, Slack/Linear), a new surfaces section (desktop, CLI, SDK, MCP) with CLI install commands, Mistral Vibe in the agents table, and the run script + SUPERSET_WORKSPACE_PATH in the configuration docs.

Greptile SummaryThis PR updates
Confidence Score: 4/5Safe to merge after resolving the plan-gating contradiction for Remote Workspaces — all other additions are accurate and verified against the docs source files. The Remote Workspaces row advertises availability "on every plan" while the corresponding docs page still carries README.md — specifically the Remote Workspaces row in the features table
|
| Filename | Overview |
|---|---|
| README.md | Documentation-only update expanding features table, adding CLI/SDK/MCP surfaces section, Mistral Vibe agent entry, and run script + env var docs — all well-sourced from the docs site, with one plan-gating inconsistency flagged (remote workspaces claimed as "every plan" while docs still mark it Pro) |

### Issue 1 of 2
README.md:50
**"On every plan" contradicts the docs**
The features table now says Remote Workspaces are available "on every plan", but `apps/docs/content/docs/remote-workspaces.mdx` carries `pro: true` in its frontmatter, which the docs site uses to gate that page behind the Pro badge. The PR notes already call this out as an open question — the phrase should either be removed until the docs are updated to match the changelog, or the docs frontmatter should be corrected alongside this README change, so both surfaces agree on what's actually available.
### Issue 2 of 2
README.md:89
The SDK also works in Deno, per `apps/docs/content/docs/sdk/getting-started.mdx` ("Everything is fully typed and works in Node, Bun, and Deno"). Omitting Deno here while the docs list it creates a minor inconsistency for Deno users landing on the repo.
```suggestion
| [**TypeScript SDK**](https://docs.superset.sh/sdk/getting-started) | Drive Superset programmatically with [`@superset_sh/sdk`](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@superset_sh/sdk) from Node, Bun, Deno, or the browser |
Summary
runscript option +SUPERSET_WORKSPACE_PATHenv var to the configuration section.Why / Context
The README still advertised the March feature set. A lot has shipped since (rich terminal input, remote hosts on every plan, automations, custom agents, the CLI/SDK/MCP surfaces, Mistral Vibe) and none of it was visible to someone landing on the repo.
Feature names and descriptions are pulled from the changelog, docs site, and pricing page so the README matches what we say elsewhere. Copy follows the house voice: no em dashes, no padding, swept with the usual grep.
