Background
The built-in switch smoke test is useful, but it still needs clearer messaging and stronger reporting for end users.
The project already assumes that the user has imported at least two accounts before running the test.
Goal
Make the automated switch test easier to understand and more useful as a confidence check.
Expected behavior
- The UI should clearly state that the test requires two imported accounts.
- The report panel should summarize:
- starting account
- target account
- final account
- each switch step
- pass/fail result
- Failure states should explain what likely went wrong:
- no second account available
- desktop did not restart in time
- active account did not converge to expected target
Notes
This is a v1 quality-of-life improvement for real-world usability and troubleshooting.
