📝 WalkthroughWalkthroughThe Kimi inference compatibility E2E test and catalogue target were removed. Parity mappings, assertion budgets, and workflow-plan count expectations were updated to reflect the reduced E2E coverage. ChangesKimi inference compatibility E2E removal

Assert the removed Kimi target by ID.
The catalogue removed kimi-inference-compat, but both updated assertions check only aggregate lengths. A different target could be removed while the Kimi coverage row remains. Assert that kimi-inference-compat is absent from both plan.coverageMatrix and catalogueIds.

Post-merge regression: the Kimi target removal updated the main workflow-plan counts but left the duplicate assertions in |
…1838) ## Outcome Owned single-sandbox deletion now crosses one typed asynchronous OpenShell lifecycle boundary. Destroy, rebuild, snapshot replacement, recreate, portable cleanup, GPU failed-attempt cleanup, and scoped uninstall retain their existing authorization and recovery ownership while consuming typed delete outcomes and requiring exact-gateway absence before declaring completion. ## Reason These actions previously constructed `openshell sandbox delete` arguments and interpreted process output independently. Centralizing transport mechanics prevents command, environment, process, timeout, and diagnostic details from leaking into action policy, while distinguishing definite rejection from an ambiguous post-spawn result that may already have mutated remote state. ### Related issues - Part of #9811 - Follow-up create variants: #11830 - Follow-up bulk uninstall and boundary closure: #11831 - Provider-specific lifecycle implementation remains owned by #9826 ## Changes - Add a transport-neutral sandbox deletion contract and a CLI implementation that owns exact `-g` argument construction, selected-runtime environment isolation, process-tree timeout handling, explicit target-absence parsing, definite versus ambiguous failure classification, and bounded redacted diagnostics. - Route every accepted named production deletion consumer in `src/lib/` through the lifecycle adapter while retaining action-owned locks, identity checks, stable-absence requirements, rollback, and recovery-state preservation. - Reuse the typed sandbox observer and lookup factories for post-delete reconciliation instead of adding another observation path. - Ensure runner-backed observations capture stdout and stderr before classifying post-delete state, and accept the exact OpenShell `status: Not Found, message: "sandbox not found"` absence grammar. - Preserve aggregate runner diagnostics when captured streams are empty, reject zero-exit OpenShell error text, keep interrupted and unsettled deletion results ambiguous, log deletion only after verified absence, and validate portable deletion against its injected environment. - Add adapter and action regression coverage for malformed input, reserved endpoint overrides, target mismatch, explicit absence, persistent presence, timeout, interruption, output limits, transport loss, acknowledgement loss, redaction, gateway targeting, and no blind mutation retry. ## Verification - `npm run validate:pr` — passed on commit `343b2f3d0f3fce35e04890b810a2fd9e2f394a21`, including pre-commit, commit-message, CLI/plugin builds, publication validation, and full CLI typecheck. - `npm run check` — source-architecture, growth, repository, E2E-plan, format, lint, and secret gates passed; the all-files Hadolint hook reported pre-existing warnings in main-branch Dockerfiles outside this PR diff. - Automated-review regressions — 26 lifecycle adapter tests and 58 Hermes portable lifecycle tests passed, including empty-stream aggregate diagnostics, concurrent signal/error ambiguity, unsettled absence rejection, injected-environment deletion validation, and isolated environment restoration. - Focused CLI regression set across 17 adapter, destroy, rebuild, snapshot, uninstall, GPU, recreate, and portable-lifecycle files — 486 passed, 1 skipped. - Focused CI-repair checks — 119 adapter/runtime-provider tests passed; the real-error destroy, provider-detach order, and cross-gateway snapshot replacement integration cases passed individually. - Remaining shard 5 regression — 85 lifecycle, observer, and rebuild destroy tests passed after restricting unnamed absence recognition to OpenShell's exact spaced `Not Found` status grammar. - Compiled CLI integration checks for gateway-unreachable destroy and onboard sandbox recreation — 11 passed. - `npm run checks:repository` — passed, including source architecture at 1,961 files, 6,307 edges, and 0 cycles. - `git diff --check` — passed. - Diff reviewed for credentials and secrets; no credential values, API keys, or secrets are present. ## Review notes - This is only capability slice 1 from the accepted issue. It intentionally leaves create migration to #11830 and selected-gateway `sandbox delete --all` plus final inventory closure to #11831. - PR #11614 overlaps later final-gateway cleanup in `destroy.ts`. Its bounded post-delete gateway teardown wait is compatible with this adapter boundary but will require ordinary conflict reconciliation if it lands first. PRs #11792, #11616, and #10774 were also rechecked; none changes the accepted mutation contract for this slice. - No live E2E target was added because the adapter and existing action seams expose the relevant process, classification, gateway-selection, and reconciliation behavior deterministically. - Broad local integration retries that probe loopback forward release encountered the task sandbox's network restriction; GitHub CI is the authoritative rerun for those unchanged forward-release cases. - The branch was refreshed from current main after #11849 temporarily left an unrelated E2E catalogue-count assertion stale; main now carries the corrected 61-target contract and fresh CI is running on the merged base. --- Signed-off-by: Rebecca Sliter <571084+rsliter@users.noreply.github.com> --------- Signed-off-by: Rebecca Sliter <571084+rsliter@users.noreply.github.com> Co-authored-by: Rebecca Sliter <571084+rsliter@users.noreply.github.com>
