This repository contains my personal BetterMouse configuration settings for macOS.

Overview

BetterMouse is a macOS application that provides advanced customization options for mice and keyboards, enhancing productivity and user experience.

Configuration Files

• bm_cfg_8615-mxmaster3.plist - Configuration for Logitech MX Master 3 Mac (version 8615)
• bm_cfg_8615-mxmaster4.plist - Configuration for Logitech MX Master 4 Mac (version 8615)

Installation

1. Install BetterMouse on your macOS system
2. Download the appropriate configuration file for your mouse:
   • bm_cfg_8615-mxmaster3.plist for MX Master 3
   • bm_cfg_8615-mxmaster4.plist for MX Master 4
3. Import the configuration through BetterMouse's settings interface
4. Adjust individual settings as needed for your specific hardware and preferences

Usage

After importing the configuration:

• Test all mouse buttons and gestures
• Verify scroll behavior meets your expectations
• Adjust cursor speed if needed
• Review hotkey assignments

Notes

• Configurations are optimized for Logitech MX Master 3 and MX Master 4 mice respectively
• Settings may need adjustment for different mouse models
• Ensure BetterMouse is set to launch at login for consistent behavior
• Configuration version: 8615
