Feature Request: add pip3/pipx

I wanted to be able to use/install this app called novelwriter and it alas requires pipx and pip too I think, but I notice its not available nor can I temporarily use root to install it anyhow

novelwriter does not require pip/pipx. ts available in AUR, and you can simply add this in a custom config. just use the CI as mentioned in the README, if you dont wanna deal with building it on your machine.

Btw, conty master was borked not too long ago, it wouldn't let me download it lol.

I guess I could try that. I thought I had, but maybe I didn't.

This can be locked I guess then.

Currently was using appimage though.

EDIT: I remember now why, I cannot install aur packages from enter-chroot.

Could that be fixed in the future?

IE, be able to install aur packages while in chroot?

Btw, conty master was borked not too long ago, it wouldn't let me download it lol.

Iam aware, it was due to some 32-bit packages that was recently dropped in the arch repository.
I happened upon that too.

I imagine you must've fixed this right?

I didnt, but @Kron4ek did, as he's the owner of the repo.

Im aware of the issue, as Ive encountered this myself. Just add the AUR packages you want in the AUR_PACKAGES variable in settings.sh instead, which is the correct way of doing it.

Not being able to use yay in the chroot however should probably be made an issue, but seeing as users can just work around it easily, I doubt anyone is bothered enough to fix it :P

Sometimes if I try to add novelwriter to settings.sh after faugus launcher, it proceeds to build an incorrect image.

I only see 36 packages after that work and then I keep getting errored by languages. its a weird ass situation.

Well good news, 1.29.2 didn't have this problem so its not a huge deal. Btw, I have something to report, but I think i will make a new thread for it.
