…n, keep .1 adjacent past an unfinished line

Review round 1 on the shared proxy-events reader:
- A1/B1/C2: a run whose live file is momentarily missing (renamed to .1,
next file not created yet) was skipped, dropping the proxy section. The
selection now falls back to .1.
- A2/B3: a rotation between the reader's two opens made both handles the
same file and silently lost the previous generation. The reader retries
the paired open; after three collisions the header says traffic was lost.
- C3: an unfinished last line in the live file hid the whole of .1.
Adjacency now means "the live read started at byte 0".
- B2: a run that vanished after selection reported an exact match with no
payload; it reports none, as the old reader did.
- A4/A5: the header reason no longer claims every drop exceeded 5 MiB, and
  dropped_bytes is pinned in bytes.

Also bumps codex-headless to the #56 review fixes (7575ae3).
