Summary
src/mcpwith a main-hosted loopback Streamable HTTP MCP host.agent_code_pingMCP tool and a command palette action to reload a focused agent with the ping domain enabled.Design Notes
This uses a main-hosted loopback HTTP MCP host rather than spawning a per-agent stdio child. Claude Code and Codex both support HTTP MCP configuration, and hosting in main avoids packaging a separate Node executable while keeping future built-in MCP domains close to app services.
Each provider process receives per-session MCP config material. Main owns the bearer token and endpoint, while renderer metadata stores only stable domain names.
Validation
npm run build:appnpm run test:review-fixes@modelcontextprotocol/sdkclient: listedagent_code_pingand called it successfully.codex -c 'mcp_servers.agent_code.url="http://127.0.0.1:1/mcp"' -c 'mcp_servers.agent_code.http_headers.Authorization="Bearer test"' mcp listconfirmed Codex accepts the dotted MCP config override shape.Known unrelated validation gap:
npx tsc -b tsconfig.node.json tsconfig.web.jsonstill fails on existing repo-wide issues: missingpidusagedeclarations and an existing renderer feed type narrowing error.Closes #155.
