Fixes #1210.

What changed

• Adds an opt-in Auto Title MCP domain for all five agent providers. title_set({title}) targets only the authenticated pane and stores a short current-job label in the existing workspace title field.
• Preserves manual titles and manual clears until Resume Auto Title is chosen. Automatic provenance survives reload/undo, and an unrelated conversation starts without the previous agent's automatic title.
• Reuses the bounded Claude/Codex turn-hook path to remind an untitled agent. A stalled renderer title read fails open within 750 ms so TLDR, Goal, and Goal Loop hooks still complete.
• Adds managed skill guidance where provider skill discovery is supported, Settings and per-agent controls, UI copy, and README guidance. Grok gets the tool and its description; native Grok skill and hook delivery remain unverified.

Verification

• npm run typecheck passed on current origin/main after rebase.
• npm run test:package passed, including build-output verification.
• 137 focused tests across 13 files passed, including real MCP bearer, two-window Electron control, managed skill, hook, recovery, and renderer UI paths.
• Fail-first tests captured missing tool/control/hook behavior. Review regression tests for hook deadline, exact window routing, unrelated conversation, and Resume UI were mutation-checked by disabling the corresponding fix and observing failure.
• Local npm run check reached the full suite: 6,633 passed and two failed under Node 25.5.0. The command-history localStorage failure reproduces on clean main and is tracked in test: renderer localStorage setup fails on Node 25 #1212. The legacy settings hydration test timed out only in this branch's full parallel run; it passes in isolation on both branches and in clean main's full run. Clean main's full run had a separate extension-frame failure. CI uses Node 24 and will provide the merge gate.
