Backend-focused developer. I mostly write Java, work with MongoDB/PostgreSQL, and manage my own Linux infrastructure. Currently learning React to round out the frontend side.
I build backend systems and server infrastructure: plugin development, database design, and self-hosted deployments. Two projects I'm actively working on:
-
Raid: The Nether, a Minecraft extraction-shooter server built from the ground up with custom Paper plugins.
-
Djed, a Spring Boot / PostgreSQL backend for a productivity app that tracks learning progress through skills, skill trees, and time-tracked sessions, so effort put into a subject automatically rolls up to everything above it.
-
Java: Paper plugin development (game mechanics, event systems) and Spring Boot for application backends
-
MongoDB / PostgreSQL: persistent data modeling, schema design, economy and progress-tracking systems
-
Linux / self-hosting: VPS management, deployment, uptime and performance tuning
- React: learning this to build proper frontends for my backend projects (starting with Djed) and move toward full-stack development.
