What

Brings the devbook level with what the mobile-inbox-slice PRs shipped (#623, #629, #652, #665, #668, #698, #702, #774). Documentation only, run through delivery:flow-spec. Backlog plan item c4c8a968-90ad-4e78-8aa6-1e2dcc6892b8 (+mobile-inbox-slice-follow-up).

ADR 0014's own Status was already fixed on main by #790 and is not touched here.

Chapter Change
arc42/adr/README.md 0014 is (accepted, built)
arc42/adr/0005-… The "Not built" note, the negative consequence (no longer "provisions no blob storage") and the open question ("(proposed)" gone) now say 0014 closes attachments for captures only; task attachments stay open
arc42/06-runtime-view.md "the desktop's intake is a later slice" replaced by the intake as built
arc42/05-building-block-view.md Mobile App Names the Inbox / Note / Tasks shell, the talk note and the attachment upload queue; the generic mermaid (Capture Service, Sync Engine) is replaced with the outbox (capture / talk-note / task), task_view, the attachment path and the platform services
domain/inbox/model.md, flow.md Attachment in the class diagram and the intake sequence; new attachment lifecycle state diagram
domain/inbox/requirements.md Pictures over 8 MB show as file rows (new scenario); new requirement: a malformed file entry is left off the item rather than refusing the capture. Both came from a devbook:capture-specs plan
domain/capture/features.md ## Mobile capture "minimum required fields" replaced by the widened contract: title and source required; body, tags, person, client id and files optional
arc42/12-glossary.md Talk note, and why it is never a "session note"

No chapter status changes.

For the reviewer

  • The two new requirements are captured from code into chapters that are still draft. Nothing tests the 8 MB boundary (InboxDesktopState.ThumbnailMaxBytes), so that rule rests on the code alone. The malformed-entry rule links AttachmentIntakeTests.A_named_file_no_fetch_could_honour_is_dropped_not_thrown, a unit test sitting on a requirement.
  • In the new Mobile App diagram, Share prefills Inbox quick capture rather than writing to the outbox, which is what Inbox.razor does.

Checks

  • node tools/devbook/check-metadata.mjs: 0 blocking, and none of the 342 advisories come from this diff
  • node .devbook/_tools/devbook-meta/build.mjs --check: clean
  • AttachmentIntakeTests: 19 of 19 pass
  • Personal Validation: approved

…ce shipped

Text written before #698 and #702 landed still read as if the desktop
intake and the phone upload were unbuilt. ADR 0005 and the ADR index now
say ADR 0014 is built and closes attachments for captures only; the runtime
view describes the desktop intake; the Mobile App block names the Inbox /
Note / Tasks shell, the talk note, the outbox, task_view and the attachment
upload queue. The Inbox model and flow gain Attachment, and two rules that
trailed the code are captured as requirements: pictures over 8 MB show as
file rows, and a malformed file entry is left off the item. Capture's
Mobile capture chapter states the widened contract, and the glossary adds
talk note.
