[Devbook drift] .devbook/domain/devbook/context.md #894

Open

Description

@JSdotNet

Scheduled Devbook verify run, 2026-09-30 (devbook:verify-change, kind setting).

Verdict: code-ahead: the code reads switch keys or settings that .devbook/domain/devbook/context.md has no chapter for.

Key the code reads Verdict Evidence Action
DevbookFeatures.ArchifyDiagrams = "archify-diagrams" (Released, default off); reader Devbook.UI/ArchifyDiagramArtifacts.cs:132 code-ahead ArchifyDiagramArtifactsTests.With_the_feature_switched_off_an_artifact_on_disk_is_not_found, AppFeatureSettingsStoreTests.Graduated_features_keep_their_maturity_and_default_apart capture-specs
DevbookFeatures.C4Diagrams = "c4-diagrams" (Released, default off); reader Devbook.UI/C4Devbook.cs:85 code-ahead C4DomainLinkTests.With_the_key_off_a_domain_chapter_is_offered_nothing, Graduated_features_keep_their_maturity_and_default_apart capture-specs
DevbookFeatures.Search = "devbook-search" (Dev, default off, FormerKeys: ["knowledge-search"]); reader DevbookScope.SearchOffered code-ahead DevbookPaneSearchTests.Search_is_not_offered_while_the_feature_is_off, plus the rename test capture-specs
DevbookFeatures.SemanticSearch = "devbook-semantic-search" (Dev, default off, FormerKeys: ["knowledge-semantic-search"]) code-ahead In the catalog, and its former key is read (rename test). No IsEnabled(DevbookFeatures.SemanticSearch) read was found in src/: a catalog switch with no branch. Report. capture-specs, or retire the switch: a person decides

Action: run devbook:capture-specs (kind setting) over .devbook/domain/devbook/context.md and carry the plan in through flow-spec.

Read-only: nothing was run or written. The chapter carries no draft or proposed status, and no open pull request or change names it.

    The issue sweep (2026-10-01) checked this against current main; the drift is still there. Before a chapter or code change can be written, a person has to answer:

    1. Should the devbook-semantic-search switch, which no code reads, be documented in context.md or retired from DevbookFeatures?

    Answer here and remove needs-info; the next sweep classifies the issue again from the answer.

  3. added
    needs-infoThe issue sweep asked the reporter for what a fix needs
