Hi, I'm Gustavo Silva 👋

Adobe Commerce Developer • Backend Engineer • Civil Engineer turned Software Developer

I'm a software engineer from Portugal with 5+ years of experience building scalable e-commerce solutions using Adobe Commerce (Magento 2).

My journey into software started in an unexpected place: Civil Engineering. During university I had my first programming classes in Python and quickly discovered that solving software problems was what I enjoyed the most. After graduating, I transitioned into web development—and I've never looked back.

Today I specialize in building performant, maintainable applications with a strong focus on backend development, integrations, and software architecture.
