🎁 What

The station's year (or quarter) in review — GenWave Wrapped. Most-played artists and tracks, the shape of listener-hours, top requester, biggest late-night listener, DJ-est stats (most patter, longest show). All the data already exists in play history, the booth log, and the request log — nobody's throwing it a party yet.

📦 Two outputs

1. The on-air special — a DJ-narrated countdown show ("your number-one track this year…"), built from the same authored-segments + named-show machinery that already exists (gh-feat: dayparting — NAMED shows over the existing schedule ('The Breakfast Show with DJ X') #383, the Station Imaging path). Pre-rendered like ads/imaging, so zero live-LLM pressure.
2. The shareable page — a Wireless-themed static snapshot in the spectator surface. Static and point-in-time on purpose: sharing your Wrapped must never leak live station data or identities (initials/handles only, owner-reviewed before publish).

🏆 Dean's extension (2026-08-14): the showcase

An opt-in community gallery for stations that choose to share their Wrapped — "a leaderboard for stations." Could start life as a seasonal Discussions thread and graduate to a page on the catalog site if it takes off. Broadcast-rights sensibilities from the registry/waiver thinking (gh-#207) apply: sharing stats ≠ publishing your stream, and the showcase should stay stats-only.

🌱 Why bother

Wrapped is the only feature on the board that markets itself — people share these. For a self-hosted AGPL project, shared artifacts are the entire organic-adoption channel. Also: it's pure joy, and the data is already sitting there.

Cadence: yearly headline + maybe quarterly minis. Zero external dependencies.
