Explanation of Change
Simple fix for #59856 - if a push fails, pull, rebase, and try to push again.
This won't 100% fix the race condition - the only way to do that (that I can think of) would be to temporarily lock the main branch so that we can't merge to it while
createNewVersionis running, and then unlock it when we're done. But that sounds a lot more complicated, and this should fix 99.9% of cases.The only cases where this could theoretically fail would be:
createNewVersionis running that causes conflicts that can't be automatically resolved (i.e: a manual version bump PR, perhaps from a CP PR where conflicts had to be manually resolved)createNewVersionis running, and then AGAIN more code is merged to main in the few milliseconds between the fetch, rebase, and retries push.Fixed Issues
$ #59856
Tests
createNewVersionis running, merge the dummy PR.createNewVersionworkflow logs that the push fails, then rebases, then pushes again successfully.Offline tests
None.
QA Steps
None.
