Chat - Markdown is lost when pasting a text that contained Markdown in slack

Issue was reproduced when executing PR: #8733

Action Performed:

1. Open App
2. Login any user
3. Create a comment that has some markdown formatting (bold, underline, etc.) in it
4. Once the comment is created, use the mouse to select the text of the comment and press ctrl+c to copy it
5. Go to slack and paste it into the compose field

Expected Result:

The formatting is intact

Actual Result:

The formatting is lost in slack

@kbecciv, can you please confirm - In Slack, Preferences > Advanced > Format messages with markup is checked?
I can't seem to reproduce the issue with that setting toggle on.
