Device used: Windows 11/Chrome, iPhone 16/iOS 18.7.1
App Component: Money Requests

Action Performed:

1. Navigate to staging.new.expensify.com
2. Go to workspace chat.
3. Create an expense with negative amount. - for eg: -100
4. Open the expense report.
5. Click More > Split.
6. Click any split amount field.
7. Place the cursor at end of amount & clear the field using backspace key (or hitting x button on iOS keypad) but leave the negative sign.
8. Observe the other split amount changes its value to -95
9. Go back & tap More > Split
10. Select the entire amount in any of the split field but leave the negative sign
11. Hit delete key & observe other split amount retain it's value i.e -50

Expected Result:

On step 8 - The other split amount field keeps its current value (no change) when deleting the other split using backspace key.

Actual Result:

On step 8 - The other split amount doesn't retain it's current value when deleting split amount in one of the field using backspace key.
