When the version of @fullstory/react-native we use in our app is ^1.7.8, if we try to upgrade to RN 0.82+, then we have errors.

We currently have version 1.7.8 Update package fullstory/react-native to latest

The latest version of @fullstory/react-native is 1.8.0. Our current version in App is (^1.7.8). We should update it by
npm update @fullstory/react-native

And update ios pod with
npm run pod-install

• The app fails to build or crashes when upgrading to React Native 0.82 or higher.
• This happens because the current FullStory package version does not support the newer React Native version.

What is the root cause of that problem?

• The app uses @fullstory/react-native version ^1.7.8.
• This version is not compatible with React Native 0.82+.
• The native code and APIs it relies on are outdated.

What changes do you think we should make in order to solve the problem?

• Upgrade @fullstory/react-native to a version that officially supports React Native 0.82+.
• Update package.json to the new FullStory version.
• Run pod install for iOS after the upgrade.
• Rebuild Android and iOS projects to apply native changes.
• Fix any small breaking changes required by the new FullStory version.

What alternative solutions did you explore? (Optional)

• Staying on an older React Native version. This blocks future upgrades and was not chosen.
