Action Performed:

Precondition:

  • User is invited to the workspace.
  • User does not have other workspace.
  • The invited workspace has disabled Categories.
  • Account has self DM.
  1. Go to staging.new.expensify.com
  2. Go to self DM.
  3. Create an expense in self DM.
  4. Open transaction thread.
  5. Click Category field.

Expected Result:

Category field should not appear for the invited member if workspace has no category.

Actual Result:

Category field appears for the invited member and shows the empty state when workspace has no category.
