Action Performed:

Precondition:

• Log in with Expensifail account.

1. Go to staging.new.expensify.com
2. Create a workspace.
3. Go to workspace settings > More features.
4. Enable Receipt partners.
5. Enable Accounting.
6. Go to Accounting.
7. Wait for about 20 seconds.

Expected Result:

Accounting will load instantly.
Receipt partners will remain enabled.

Actual Result:

Acocunting tab loads for about 20 seconds after enabling Receipt partners.
After Accounting tab loads, Receipt partners is disabled.

Please re-state the problem that we are trying to solve in this issue.

Acocunting tab loads for about 20 seconds after enabling Receipt partners.
After Accounting tab loads, Receipt partners is disabled.

What is the root cause of that problem?

1. Currently, Receipt partners is behind in beta, so the server doesn't have an API to handle the request and will return a 404 NotFound error.

2. At this point, we don't handle failures caused by the 404 error, so the app keeps retrying. This leads to a delay, and since Receipt partners isn't actually enabled, it eventually gets disabled.
