Action Performed:

Precondition:

• User A and B have no unsettled expense.

1. Go to staging.expensify.com
2. [User A] Open DM with User B and submit an expense to User B.
3. [User A] Hover over the avatar above the expense preview -> The name belongs to the submitter, but the tooltip shows the receiver name and email with submitter avatar.
4. [User A] Click on the avatar above the expense preview -> Receiver profile opens when the name belongs to the submitter.
5. Repeat Step 3 and 4 from the receiver's end.

Expected Result:

In Step 3, the name belongs to the submitter, so the tooltip should display the submitter name and email with submitter avatar.
In Step 4, submitter profile should open because the name belongs to the submitter.

Actual Result:

In Step 3, the name belongs to the submitter, but the tooltip shows the receiver name and email with submitter avatar.
In Step 4, receiver profile opens when the name belongs to the submitter.

Receiver also sees the same result as the submitter.

@sakluger FYI I haven't added the External label as I wasn't 100% sure about this issue. Please take a look and add the label if you agree it's a bug and can be handled by external contributors.

Yeah, that will be fixed as a part of #65559.

We want to display a sender avatar, so:

• It is above the report preview
• It is in the tooltip
• It is in the report header

However, it is not displayed in the details panel. Previously, we displayed the wrong avatar above the report preview and in the details panel, so they matched. Now, the avatar above the report preview is correct, but the avatar in the details panel is incorrect, so they do not match.
