After submitting expense to a vacation delegate, expense thread is not shown in Inbox #64897

App Component: User Settings

Action Performed:

Precondition: Have a workspace with workflows enabled and an Approver user set.
The Approver user has set a vacation delegate who is a workspace member.
The submitter can be the admin user or an employee.

Steps

  1. [Web] Go to staging.new.expensify.com
  2. [Web] Log in with the workspace admin
  3. [Web] Submit a manual expense to the workspace
  4. [Android] Open the Expensify Hybrid app
  5. [Android] Log in with the vacation delegate account
  6. [Android] Look for the expense thread (submitted in step 3) in the Inbox
  7. [Android] Go to Account > Troubleshoot > Clear cache and restart
  8. [Android] Head back to the Inbox looking for the expense thread
  9. [Android] Kill the app and open it again

Expected Result:

After step 3, the expense thread should be shown immediately in the Inbox.

Actual Result:

After steps 3, 5, and 7, the expense thread does not appear in the Inbox.
After step 9, the expense thread appears.
