Action Performed:

Precondition:

• Admin has workspace A and workspace B.
• Admin invites member to workspace A only.

1. Go to staging.new.expensify.com
2. [Member] Go to workspace chat.
3. [Member] Create an expense in the workspace chat.
4. [Admin] Go to workspace chat with member and open expense report.
5. [Admin] Click More > Change workspace.
6. [Admin] Select the other workspace.
7. [Admin] Close the workspace change educational modal.

Expected Result:

After changing report workspace, the expense report will not go blank.

Actual Result:

After changing report workspace, the expense report becomes blank.

Likely coming from my PR #63884. I'll take a look

This seems to be a BE issue. Changing the policy offline works just fine. After changing the policy, we receive a multiSet update that completely wipes all the data on the report and report actions. Investigating.

I see, that update comes from here. Since the report is still in open state, we unshare it with the admin and we send the multiSet update above. It just so happen that when resharing the report, we don't send the full updates needed to restore the UI to what it was. I don't think this is a blocker since that code has been in prod for 14mo.
