App doesn't freeze and able to view the chat

App freezes

1. Launch the app
2. Log in with any account
3. Put app in background
4. Open the app again

Added the deploy blocker for this one, I'm pretty sure I didn't see this issue on the last regression.

I believe this was introduced by the Onyx changes. However, while I have seen this occur it's not reproducible every time for me on 1.0.67.-0.
