   and login on mWeb Chrome Android
2. Tap +
3. Tap New Chat
4. Start typing search request

Expected Result:

Characters should appear immediately after typing it

Actual Result:

Characters appear with delay.
Repro for New Chat / New Group / Request/ Send / Split pages. Partially for regular search.
Not repro on Android native App, Web, mWeb Safari

Still not sure what caused this but I tested both Staging and Prod in the Android Emulator here and both seem to have a similar delay:

@kbecciv do you mind confirming that? If this is happening on production as well as staging, I think we can remove the deploy blocker label from this issue and have an external contributor work on it.
