Device used: MacBook Air 26.6.2 Chrome, iPhone 15 iOS 26.6.1
App Component: Search

Action Performed:

Precondition: User has a workspace and multiple expenses with different merchants and categories

1. Go to Spend, open Top categories tab, This month, if the expenses are from this month
2. Click any category bar
3. Click Reset, apply This month again
4. Refresh the page

Expected Result:

Top categories page displays Top categories chart

Actual Result:

Top categories page displayed expenses table and never reverts back to categories chart. The same occurs on the other Insights pages

Hmm, this should be expected because the filter chips/bars "Reset" button doesn't reset the Display options

This is expected but from user perspective, I have no simple way to go back to chart view

We're moving these to the Insights page soon, so I'm not sure how much we need to optimise for it. I think I'd expect clicking on a specific bar of the graph to go to Expenses though as you're executing a new type:expense search for a subset of the chart data.

I agree w/ that, so maybe we should fix this to just go to type:expense for now?
