Hi there 👋, my name is Doruk Ozar. I am from Istanbul, Turkey. I am currently a Master's Student at the University of Virginia School of Data Science. The University of Virginia is the first institution to have a school of Data Science. I did my undergraduate degree at Bucknell University in Computer Science and Engineering where I was a Division 1 student-athlete in Water Polo. I received 3 personal awards (Rookie of the Year, Rookie of the Tournament, and MVP of the Year) at the Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference. I also played in the Turkish national team where I received a personal award in an international tournament. I am looking to collaborate on machine learning and statistical modeling algorithms and projects. My keen interests are Data mining, Exploratory Data Analysis, Machine Learning Algorithms and Applications, and Machine Learning in the Financial Industry.
