AI Access Test

A simple repository for testing whether an AI coding assistant has proper GitHub access.

How to use this repo

Ask your AI assistant to do any of the following. If it succeeds, access is working.

Level 1 — Read access

• "Read the README of this repo"
• "What files are in this repo?"
• "Show me the git log"

Level 2 — Write access (local)

• "Add a new file called test.txt with today's date in it"
• "Edit the scratch.txt file and add a line"

Level 3 — Push access (remote)

• "Commit and push a change to this repo"
• "Create a new branch called ai-test and push it"

Level 4 — GitHub API access

• "Open an issue on this repo titled 'Test issue'"
• "Create a pull request from the ai-test branch"
• "List the open issues on this repo"

Scratch area

AI assistants can freely edit anything below this line for testing.
