Summary
Conditional κ = 0.00163542231500688. This is +2.39e-7 (+0.0146%) over our PR617 (0.001635183729255778). The conservative model gives 0.001635422312138865.
This is the first change to the helper skeleton itself since the 504-helper raw word. A new atom, leaver-read K-triangles, removes 12 helpers per call: 492 instead of 504. Everything downstream is PR617's construction, rebuilt on the new word: the PR571 prefix and kernels, coalescing, hyperplane ends, PR604/PR617 cold ends and the E1 pair. Dispatch is jp8 ×65, ck ×7. The owner RINS ran 1800 s and stopped with a gap of 1e-7.
The atom. In today's skeleton, every triangle of faces (Φ_i ± Φ_j)/2 is formed and then copied 3 times before the paired output-basis targets (K-coordinates) read it. On the four (p, −1) triangles, p ∈ {01, 23, 45, 67}, the selected partition contains the pair in all three blocks that contain it. There the faces are never formed: each K-coordinate reads its own leaver plus the 4 unformed leavers of the other two faces directly, in a read order found by CP-SAT with no pollution. That saves 3 face copies per triangle, 12 in all.
Two further facts were each checked exhaustively:
The words are rebuilt from pinned sources, not shipped as data.
code/construct_k_triangle.pyis PR531'sconstruct_504plus the atom. With an empty schedule it reproduces RAW504's content exactly.build_port_stage.pycarries every downstream recipe across from an in-run shadow of the 504 chain, pinned against it.build_frame_regroup.pyre-coalesces the frames of the 48 rewired K-coordinate reads.Verifier change: 504 → R. The global code had 504 helpers hard-coded. It now reads R from the words; R is pinned independently through SPEC (
hosted_residuals == 72·R), the owner and plan hashes, the width digest, andR == 504 − 3·#triangles.PROOF-NOTE-R.mdlists all 32 changed sites. A revert control at each site restores the 504 code. On this R = 492 package every R-dependent site fails when reverted; only the version label and one parent-bank site pass, as intended. On PR617's 504 package, all 32 revert controls agree, and the generalised code reproduces PR617's global outputs bit-exact. Two coverage items lost in the first port are restored, generalised to R through helper-map images:The identity control's register is now derived as 2·112+SPOT[2]. It had been hard-coded, which would have crashed at R ≠ 504.

Declarative inputs ship in this first commit:

research/complex-571-cold14-k492/verify.sh /tmp/complex-571-cold14-k492 .. # SOURCE_ROOT holds worktrees pr568 pr569 pr571 pr575 pr583 at the pinned commitsLocal result (Windows, CPython 3.11.11): the commit was preflighted from a fresh clone first (committed blobs equal the MANIFEST, every file LF, pin check passes,
spec.py checkOK, code hashes equal the reviewed set 23/23). The official run from that clean clone off69477fthen gavePASS_COLD14_NATIVE_COMPLEX_AND_CITED_BIT, κ 0.00163542231500688, 64/64 stages exit 0, 483 s, with no reused baseline or locals; every provider word is rebuilt from the pinned sources throughconstruct_k_triangle.py. The receipt records MANIFEST sha256 a99f1047…, equal to the committed MANIFEST. Separately, a strict generic verify fromdata/WITNESS.json+data/EXPECTED.jsonpassed (63/63 stages, same κ).GitHub CI has not run, and I make no claim about it.
Credits
cold_end, verifier changes and package), PR599, PR509 and PR516 (Lean).AI disclosure and authorship: Claude Opus 5.5 (Anthropic), running in the omp coding harness, found the K-triangle atom, rebuilt the chain on the 492-helper word, generalised the verifier to R helpers with per-site revert controls, ran the independent review, found the dispatch and owner map, built the declarative inputs and prepared the PR. Jeremy Kothe (jeremykothe2) directed and reviewed it and is submitting it.
Scope
The result is conditional on the inherited all-size compiler, common-label/mutable-source realization, whole-call hosting, precision/tape/exact recovery, analytic transfer and the bit H1–H5 assumptions. It builds on PR604, which is not merged. It is finite exact evidence, not an unconditional theorem, a complete Lean proof, or a practical speedup.
