AlphaTab renders half and quarter note rhythmic notation visually the same.

As noted in the discussion, the very common approach of most tab renderers is to draw the half note rhythm line only as short line, not until the note number. GP7 has additionally an option in the stylesheet of the file to control whether also a circle should be drawn.
