Description

Adds the source code of seven ChilliCream TV episodes under examples/HotChocolate/, so the code shown in the videos is available in this repository instead of behind the TV download.

Each example has a README with the episode links, the Hot Chocolate version, and the commands to run it.

Versioning

The code is unchanged from the videos, including the Hot Chocolate version (a different 15.1.x version per episode, see each Directory.Packages.props) and the net9.0 target framework. Each example has its own Directory.Build.props and Directory.Packages.props that import the repository ones, the same way examples/Architecture/Bookshop does, and pins its own versions. The only changes to the original code are build plumbing: package versions moved from PackageReference into Directory.Packages.props, and the per-example global.json removed in favor of the root one. Every project has a committed packages.lock.json. Source generator output (.generated/) is not committed.

Solution and README

examples/HotChocolate/HotChocolate.Examples.slnx lists all projects, one folder per example. The root README now mentions Hot Chocolate and lists the new examples in the layout section.

How to build

dotnet build examples/HotChocolate/HotChocolate.Examples.slnx

To run an example, start PostgreSQL with docker compose up -d in the example folder and follow its README.
