Skipping this PR for now. It would break revenue settlement:

  • runBatchOnce() now always calls runBatchOnceAtomic(), and that path calls (this.settlementStore as any).createClaimed(...). No store implements createClaimed (it isn't in settlementStore.ts or anywhere else), so every developer batch throws. The error is then swallowed by the bare catch { errors++ }, so no payout is ever made.
  • InMemoryUsageStore has no getUnsettledDeveloperIds, so with the in-memory store devIds is [] and nothing settles at all.
  • claimUnsettledEvents takes FOR UPDATE ... SKIP LOCKED and then COMMITs at once, before the settlement is linked. The row locks are released straight away, so the claim gives no multi-instance protection, which is what Make revenue settlement batches crash-safe and multi-instance safe so events are never paid twice or orphaned #1490 asks for.
  • runBatchOnceLegacy is unreachable dead code, and the any casts hide the missing interface methods from the type checker.
  • No tests were added for the new claim/release flow.

To fix: add claimUnsettledEvents, releaseEvents and getUnsettledDeveloperIds to the UsageStore interface, and createClaimed to SettlementStore, then implement them in both the InMemory and Postgres stores without any casts. Hold the claim, either through a persisted 'claimed' settlement row or inside one transaction, until the events are linked. Then add tests for the concurrency and failure/release paths.

Fix Applied

Fix syntax error in revenueSettlementService.test.ts by closing the test block properly.
