The context is stored on workflow runs and added to metadata for static and later-created node jobs across the server and Java, Node, and Python SDK paths. ChangesWorkflow Trace Context

119-120: 📐 Maintainability & Code Quality | 🔵 Trivial | ⚡ Quick winRequire one execute span for each linear step.
Both tests wait only for the
secondspan. The Node assertion requires only a non-empty combined list, and the Python assertion checks only spans that exist. Iffirstproduces no execute span whileseconddoes, both tests can still pass.Assert exactly one span for each step before checking parentage.

Nitpick (linear steps need one execute span each) is fixed in adaf5a4. The Node and Python tests now wait for, and assert, exactly one span for both |
Closes #1047
Workflow node jobs now carry the submitter's W3C trace context. Every step's execute span is a child of the submit span (flat, like pub/sub fan-out).
workflow_runsgainstraceparent/tracestate(m0005). Every node job merges them in beside the routing keys: pre-enqueued, fan-out, fan-in/deferred and compensation jobs alike. Sub-workflows inherit the parent run's context.flexiq_workflows::lifecyclereplaces the per-binding copies.SubmitWorkflowmergestraceparent/tracestaterequest headers, the same asEnqueue.on_workflow_submit/onWorkflowSubmitmiddleware hook that the otel integration fills. An explicit carrier wins.QueueBackend.submitWorkflowtakes 2 more params.Deferred: polyglot e2e workflow case. Node jobs carry the same keys the existing cross-SDK enqueue assertion checks.
Tested: workflow storage contract (SQLite/PG/Redis), lifecycle + server
grpc_workflow, Python/Node/Java trace tests (static, fan-out, fan-in, compensation, explicit carrier), docs parity + build.Summary by CodeRabbit
