Two shipped surfaces report stale versions because their literals are not in the scripts/version.mjs mirror/check list, so --check in CI never catches them. Found in the 2026-07-24 SDK parity audit (SDK_PARITY_REPORT.md).

Sub-issues cover the two symptoms and the root-cause fix.
