Android foldable workspaces need to handle cover-display rotation, short wide windows, and physical hinges while keeping chat, composer, and workspace tools usable. This adds posture-aware pane sizes and tabletop placement, consistent loading chrome, and interruptible inspector transitions.
Thread drags track the finger on the UI thread, and Home/sidebar support direct reorder, pin, unpin, and settle drops with local Undo. Undo stays above the floating controls. Optional thumb navigation is off by default under Settings → Organization. Android native source views gain wrapped line selection, Copy and Attach lines; native code/diff/terminal pinch commits typography once on release, and image previews handle window resizing.
Validation: 224 focused tests and five native Android tests passed; mobile typecheck, targeted lint, native Kotlin compilation, and Android Hermes bundle export passed. Regression coverage verifies the fork's existing network handoff/resume recovery. The required pre-push gate passed on the final integrated commit: formatting, changed-line lint, gated typechecks, and all 13 workspace test tasks. Dependencies were refreshed to match main before the successful final run. The conflict resolution retains main's browser-preview control and README refresh; mobile typecheck, 12 foldable/thumb-navigation tests, native review tests, and terminal Kotlin compilation pass after integration. Both terminal detach cleanups are retained in one override.
Android Studio API 35 foldable emulator checks verified wide split navigation, wrapped source selection and Attach lines, native pinch release/cancel behavior, and thread drag plus Undo restoring pinned state. The installed client was rebuilt successfully with temporary diagnostic logging removed. The emulator did not expose a usable Jetpack hinge posture for an end-to-end tabletop assertion; fold/tabletop geometry has automated coverage. Software-rendered emulator timing does not establish real-device frame-rate performance.
Before/after source selection images, pinch screenshot, and transition recording are uploaded as assets of a draft GitHub release for maintainer review. No review assets are committed. Native changes require a rebuilt Android client.
