An image viewer built to be lightweight and free from heavy dependencies.
Warning
This software is in its early stages. It's a work in progress, so keep your expectations in check.
To build and run libviewer, you'll need to have a few things set up:
- Visual Studio 2022 - The project is configured to be opened and built with VS2022.
- CMake - A cross-platform build system. You can download it from here.
- vcpkg - A C++ package manager that helps with acquiring and managing dependencies.

First, clone
vcpkg: git clone https://github.com/microsoft/vcpkg.git cd vcpkg -
Bootstrap
vcpkg:
- Windows:
.\bootstrap-vcpkg.bat
- Integrate
vcpkgwith Visual Studio:
.\vcpkg integrate install
- Navigate to the
libviewerdirectory. - Create a build directory and navigate into it:
mkdir build cd build
- Run CMake configuration:
cmake .. -DCMAKE_TOOLCHAIN_FILE=path_to_vcpkg/scripts/buildsystems/vcpkg.cmake
- Build the project:
cmake --build .
- Run the viewer:
.\Debug\PPMViewer.exe
- After configuring with CMake, there should be a
PPMViewer.slnfile inside thebuilddirectory. Double-click to open with Visual Studio 2022. - In Visual Studio, right-click on the
PPMViewerproject in the Solution Explorer and select 'Set as StartUp Project'. - Press
F5or click on the "Local Windows Debugger" button to build and run.
