Run the browser editor in a container with docker compose up -d --build.

  • Dockerfile on node:24-bookworm-slim with Chromium runtime libraries and fonts for Remotion exports; provisions MediaPipe, whisper.cpp, and the headless shell at build time. NPM_REGISTRY build arg picks the registry for every lockfile entry.
  • Entrypoint keeps Vite on 127.0.0.1 and relays the published port with socat, so editor endpoints still see loopback requests; Compose publishes on 127.0.0.1 only.
  • One volume at ~/.openchatcut holds projects, media, settings, the MCP token, and custom skills.
  • OPENCHATCUT_SETTINGS_FILE lets the default profile persist Settings-UI keys outside the checkout (the keystore's atomic rename cannot target a bind-mounted file); Vite loads it at startup.
  • README / README_ZH: "Run with Docker" section.
