Index is a powerful, intuitive database client application designed exclusively for macOS, providing developers with a comprehensive tool for editing and exploring databases used on app development.
- Click the + button on the databases window or select "Open..." from the Database menu.
- Select the "Open SQLite File" option from the modal.
- Give the app permission to access the folder if necessary.
- Select the file and click "Open"
- Choose the desired model or table from the sidebar to load its records.
- Click the + button on the databases window or select "Open..." from the Database menu.
- Select the "Browse Simulators" option from the modal.
- Give the app permission to access the simulators folder.
- Index will automatically list the available simulators and the apps in them.
- Select the database file inside the app to open.
- Choose the desired model or table from the sidebar to load its records.
