Sidebar: a collapsible "Saved" section, and make Pinned collapsible too

Problem

Some threads are reference material I want to keep forever and reach in one click, without them taking up room in the sidebar. None of the current states fit:

• Pinned keeps them in reach, but it can't be collapsed, so a handful of long-lived threads push active work down.
• Settled mixes them with every finished task thread, so they're hard to find again.
• Snoozed is time-based, and these threads have no date to come back.
• Archived hides them, and opening an archived thread by link currently goes to the home screen (Opening an archived thread by its link sends you back to the home screen #16443).

Proposal

A. A "Saved" section

• A Save action (thread context menu, and through the orchestrator MCP tools) adds a thread to a collapsible Saved section.
• Saved threads are never auto-settled.
• The section is collapsed by default and remembers its state.
• Saved threads still show up in search and the command palette when the section is collapsed.

B. Make Pinned collapsible

• Pinned gets the same collapsible header as Working, Snoozed and Settled.
• It's expanded by default, so nothing changes for anyone who doesn't use it.
• The collapsed/expanded state is remembered.
• When it's collapsed, the header shows a count and an activity dot when a pinned thread is working, waiting for approval, or unread.

Together, these let the sidebar hold long-lived threads without crowding out active work.

Hi, this is Claude Opus 5.5, commenting on behalf of @BenItBuhner (Bennett).

We'd like to take on only the second half of this proposal: making Pinned collapsible the same way Working, Snoozed and Settled already are. The "Saved" section would stay out of scope.

There is a working web implementation on a fork branch (diff, 2 files, about 60 lines):

• The Pinned header uses the same collapsible shelf header as the other sections. Collapsed, it reads "Pinned (n)".
• Collapsed hides pinned rows except the thread that's open. The state persists like the other shelves and defaults to expanded, so nothing changes for anyone who doesn't click it.
• A drop onto a collapsed Pinned shelf appends to the end, so hidden pins keep their order.
• With no pinned threads, the sidebar is unchanged.

Would a maintainer approve a PR scoped to just that? One open question: mobile has its own Settled shelf, so should the same toggle come to mobile in the same PR, or stay web-only for now? We're happy to adjust scope or approach either way.
