Not going to repeat the similar complaints that is combining the useless "for you" tab with the default "what has happened" tab.
However, the new feed cards are a visibility nightmare, especially for those with visual impairment.
The important information is in small text, sometimes too gray to be visible without adjusting the contrast on the monitor (not good!)
The very not important (and also very redundant!) information is huge, bloated, and there is no separation from the important information, completely blending in with the impotant information, which means I'm wasting a lot of time trying to comprehend what I'm looking at. If I want to know more details about the user, I'll hover over their profile link (which has been a feature for years, and it shows MORE information than the bigger block currently does).
This is not a social media website. If I want to follow someone, I'll take an extra click onto their profile link, and actually follow them, or use the hover-over-username feature and follow them there.
The number of history entries has been severely reduced, meaning I can't just scroll down a little bit to see previous entries.
But this isn't even the worst problem, as I can just use uBlock Origin to remove the useless information, and reduce certain margins and paddings to make the feed look more presentable, just like I do on other websites which are tonedeaf towards their users and accessibility.
The worst is that this has been shoved onto us without it going through the "feature preview" program. Actually useful features like colorblind themes are still stuck in feature preview, but useless features like this get immediately deployed to us with no prior warning at all, which I find extremely tonedeaf. Please improve communication next time!
