I'm encountering an issue with my Github commit history.

Here is my profile: https://github.com/sabahzero
Here is a recent set of commits I made: https://github.com/sabahzero/C_californicus_Morphology/commits/main/

I confirmed my email is correct/the same and verified: bysabahulhasan@gmail.com
I have a feeling I have even more commits since September that aren't showing up, and I'm not sure how to retroactively address these.

Hey! I checked your profile and commits — thanks for sharing the links, that really helps.
Here are a few things you can try to fix the missing commits issue:

✅ 1. Confirm Git is Using the Correct Email
Even if your email is verified on GitHub, your local Git config must match it exactly.
Run this in your terminal:
git config user.email

If it’s not bysabahulhasan@gmail.com, set it like this:
git config --global user.email "bysabahulhasan@gmail.com"

Then try making a new commit and pushing it — that should show up on your profile.

🔍 2. Check Author vs Committer
Sometimes commits are made with the correct email but show someone else as the author. You can check this with:
git log --pretty=full

Make sure both Author: and Commit: lines have your name and email.

🛠️ 3. Fix Old Commits (Optional)
If older commits used the wrong email, you can fix them — but only if it’s your own repo and no one else is working on it.
git rebase -i HEAD~N

Then for each commit:
git commit --amend --author="Your Name bysabahulhasan@gmail.com"

And finally:
git push --force

⚠️ Careful: Only do this if you’re sure no one else is using the branch.

🔄 4. Force GitHub to Refresh
Sometimes GitHub just needs a nudge. Try:

• Making a new commit with the correct email
• Or unlink + relink your email in GitHub Email Settings
