GitHub Discussions isn’t monitored for support or fulfillment issues like event merchandise or badges. For GitHub Universe swag (including badges), the correct path is still GitHub Support, even though the category isn’t obvious. The best option is to: Go to GitHub Support → Contact us Choose “Account & billing” or “Other” as the closest category Clearly mention GitHub Universe 2025 badge replacement in the subject If Support confirms they can’t replace it, following up directly with Pimoroni is the right next step, as they handled manufacturing and logistics. Unfortunately, replacements for event hardware aren’t guaranteed, especially after the event, but Support is the only team that can confirm availability or escalate internally. |

Hi @jadekitty, Thanks for joining us for the GitHub Universe celebrations in the GitHub Community, we're glad you're here! If you're looking for help with a general GitHub feature you might want to try asking in the main GitHub Community. We want to make sure you’re getting the best support you can, but this space may not be the right place for this particular topic. Best of luck! |

Hello,
I received a badge at GitHub Universe 2025, but unfortunately the screen has broken. I reached out to Pimoroni (who manufactured the badge), and they recommended contacting GitHub Support first to request a replacement. If GitHub is unable to help, they said I could follow up with them directly, though shipping from the UK is quite expensive. (Shipping costs, tariffs, etc)
I tried using the GitHub Support portal, but couldn’t find any category that fits this issue, and there’s no option to submit a general support ticket.
Could someone from GitHub help me with a replacement or point me to the right contact?
