Possible Fixes for Login Loop This generic error usually happens when there is a conflict with browser cookies or a third-party extension blocking the sign-in script. Here are a few steps that typically resolve this: Try Incognito/Private Mode: Open the link or perform the action in an Incognito window. If it works there, the issue is likely a browser extension. Clear GitHub Cookies: Go to your browser settings and clear cookies specifically for github.com. Old session data can sometimes cause this loop. Disable Ad Blockers/Privacy Extensions: If you are using extensions like uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger, temporarily disable them for GitHub, as they can sometimes block the OAuth handshake. Check GitHub Status: Occasionally, this happens during service degradation. You can double-check githubstatus.com to ensure authentication services are operational. |

Try this:
If no apps listed or still fails, clear all GitHub site data in browser (Chrome: Settings > Privacy > Clear data > Search "github" > Clear) and use incognito mode. |

I have faced this thing once, In order to get access to my GitHub Account I had to use GitHub's Desktop Application version. Check by using all the possible methods to log in into your account such as resetting your password etc. If you want to access from browser try to disable browser extensions and check JavaScript is enabled in browser settings. |
