Hey, I haven’t personally experienced this issue before but since the problem seems to happen after file upload, it’s likely on GitHub Education’s end rather than your device. You could try reaching out directly through the GitHub Education Support Form here: In your message, explain that the upload field shows a warning icon with no error message. They can review your application manually and help fix your submission. In the meantime, it might help to:
Hope this helps a bit :) |

Hi @Bilgehano 👋 Here are a few steps that usually fix it: Clear browser cache and cookies for education.github.com, then restart the browser. Try again in a private/incognito window. Make sure your GitHub profile name and email are correctly set and verified — mismatched info can sometimes block the upload step. If the upload still fails, try another browser (Chrome / Firefox / Edge) or a different network (VPN off). Finally, if it keeps happening, you can contact GitHub Education Support directly Sometimes the form hangs due to rate limits or a stuck verification token, and GitHub’s Education team can manually reset your application. Hope that helps — please let us know if any of these steps work for you! |

Hi @Bilgehano, Usually this issue is solved by submitting the application using another device, such as a smartphone or another PC. These users solved it by using the phone: #162877, #168688, #175904 If none of the above works, I recommend you contact support by opening a ticket here, select " |

Hi everyone, I wanted to provide an update on my issue with the GitHub Student Developer Pack application. I’ve already submitted a support ticket to GitHub and tried all the suggested solutions, but unfortunately, the problem still persists. Here’s a quick summary: I’ve tried multiple browsers, devices, internet connections, file types (JPG, PNG, PDF), and file sizes. I also cleared cache, used incognito mode, reset my browser, and tried from another device — nothing has worked so far. Has anyone else experienced this recently or found a workaround? Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! |

Hi everyone,
Hello everyone,
I am trying to apply for the GitHub Student Developer Pack, but I have been stuck for several days due to a technical problem and I cannot find any solution or support.
Here is my situation:
I submitted my first application, but it was rejected because my name was incorrect on my GitHub profile.
I corrected my name and tried to apply again.
During the second application, after I verify my location, the "Continue" button does not work. I have to refresh or try several times just to get past that step.
When I finally proceed, I cannot upload any document or image (student ID, proof of enrollment, etc.).
Every time I upload a file, it only shows a warning icon (!) on the screen and nothing else – no error message, no explanation.
I tried different browsers, devices, internet connections, image formats (JPG, PNG, PDF), and file sizes – nothing works.
I am stuck and cannot complete my application, and I have no way to contact support directly. This is really frustrating for such a simple process.
Has anyone experienced this issue before?
Is there any solution or official support I can contact?
I would really appreciate any help. Thank you!
