I've been looking through ServerEmus, especially ServerApp, Plugin.PlayFab, Plugin.Photon, and the Uplay/Quazal projects, and I was wondering what the long-term architectural goal is.
Is ServerApp intended mainly as a common host for game-specific emulation plugins, or do you eventually want it to become a more generic framework for replacing third-party online services such as PlayFab, Photon, Uplay/Quazal, and possibly EOS?
For example, if a game uses multiple services at once:
would the idea be for all of those plugins to share some common local identity/state inside ServerApp, or are they intentionally kept independent?
I'm especially curious whether concepts such as users, sessions, inventories, lobbies, and identities are expected to become shared between plugins, or whether each service emulator will maintain its own model.
Also, is EOS something you have considered adding in the future?
