Ok, so I REALLY hate doing this. But I just have to chime in here. Being new to Nuxt is infuriating. I keep hitting limitatin after limitation. I feel like I am being force fed every frameowrks opinion all the way down the line...from tailwinds atrocious colors, to nuxtui's calculation of those atrocious colors, to now docus on what kind of Logo I should be using. Trying to overide the logo component with my own css animated logo, all my styles get stripped, my animation doesn't show, only white text. Meaning that basically I am being forced to use either an image or plain text. It's like in 2026, all creativity has effectively been SHADOW BANNED all the way down the line - across the entire board. From "dumb" design systems, that lock you into a set of colors which takes hours on end to customize and re-map for entire large scale projects - in various files - to needing 50 different wbesites docs opened just to ensure the configs are all in line (is docus using the app folder for nuxt 4 or the old way in nuxt 3, don't get it right on the first try, ok, try re-doing it in both ways to see.... IPC connecton errors. The docs on docus, nuxt, nuxtui, tailwind all minimal in places requiring full explanations, all passing you to the next website for instruction that don't all line up or even have the answer as the enxt one just passes you off somewhere else!! Docus says oh yea, it's as easy as create this in your app config and write this in your nuxt config, runing around from website to website like a chicken with my dan head cut off.

Nuxt may be powerful. I will give it that. But when too many tools and frameworks start getting so opinionated like docus literally deciding that the only way to display a log in 2026 is by a simple image or text string is just crazy to me. All these tools, including docus has zapped the joy out of building amazing new websites that push the boundaries of creative design. Daisy too. There's no more dynamicism anymore. Everything is cookie cutter and it's disgusting and getting really old really fast.

Tell me, please, what is the point of creating something like docus, & nuxtui, if not to give people the tools to not just COPY and DUPLICATE but actually take it and run with it, to CREATE SOMETHING NEW and GREAT with it?

Or I digress, maybe it was an intentional decison to make docus the way it was created. As a marketing and saes tool for NuxtUI. This way every signle user who uses it, would all look exactly like the original with no chance of truly making it their own. Silly me, now dont I feel stupid.

Completely DISGUSTED with DX in 2026.
