Shuffle the interlude playlist

I've noticed that the playlist (I have a single directory with various mp3 in it) is always loaded in the same way. It'd be nice to have an option in the config to enable it to be shuffled. I always ear the same songs (the first ones in the playlist) even if I have hundreds in the directory

There is a shuffle button in the GUI.
I assume you're using the CLI?
Good suggestion though, i'll add an option to always shuffle.

I've upgraded it from arch AUR, added the setting in the ini config, but every time I start blockify I see that the playlist is not shuffled

My config file:

[general]
autodetect = True
automute = True

[cli]
update_interval = 200
unmute_delay = 700

[gui]
update_interval = 350

autohide_cover = False

[interlude]
start_shuffled = True
radio_timeout = 180
use_interlude_music = True

And the m3u file:

Your blockify.ini is incomplete, i.e. missing an entry in line 4. As a consequence blockify merges what it read up until that line with the default options, effectively overriding everything after the [general] section. I'll change that behaviour now so that only the actual missing/erroneous options are overridden.

Meanwhile, this is a complete blockify.ini as of v1.8.1:

You are missing: substring_search
