What happens when token prices go up? #1343

It's a real concern. The question is: can the tooling, open source models, local models get to a minimum viable threshold? Will we be using paid API models for creating architecture/plans and local for execution? This is one reason to have the work you're doing turn into scripts/code as much as possible, as that infrastructure won't go away with the loss of subsidized tokens. |

Hey @lexilexikon, thanks for this. Looks like it's been answered/resolved, and we're tidying up the tracker ahead of a big release where LifeOS moves to a skill-based install. Closing for now; reopen anytime if you're still stuck. Appreciate you. |

Hey, I've got a concern I'd love your thoughts on. What happens when token prices go up? Right now tokens are effectively subsidised, but once Anthropic starts billing at the real cost, this becomes a real problem — at least for me. How are you thinking about that? Thanks!
