@anandb I never saw this problem, but there is a theoretical race condition in the implemenation. That is fixed via #8960. Please test the nightly build available from the checks page of that PR or directly via: https://github.com/apache/netbeans/suites/48447497113/artifacts/4375691979 (it is retained for the next 7 days).

@mbien I have some doubts, that Temurin 21 is correct. The code might be introduced by this commit:

openjdk/jdk@ffa33d7

And according to github is part of the JDK since 23. So I suspect this might be FoAN installed version with JDK24. (just guessing)

I'm not seeing the exception with the nightly build you linked, at least not so far.
